Foi promulgada a Lei Ordinária 4.733/2018, de autoria do vereador Nadim Harfouche (PP), que proíbe a cobrança dos custos de pavimentação e repavimentação de vias públicas aos consumidores. Os reparos deverão ser custeados pela concessionária de água e esgoto, que no caso de Viamão, é a Corsan. Na justificativa do parlamentar, o não cumprimento da lei acarretará à concessionária as penalidades de advertência, devolução de recursos para o usuário, multa para o órgão fiscalizador, ressarcimento em dobro para o usuário e suspensão do alvará de funcionamento. Os cidadãos podem efetuar denúncias devidamente comprovadas e encaminhá-las a Secretaria Municipal de Desenvolvimento Econômico. “Os transtornos ocorridos pelo processo de ligação ou religação de água são de responsabilidade da concessionária e, desta forma, a cobrança feita ao usuário se torna indevida”, afirma Nadim.
UBS (Unidade Básica de Saúde) 24 Horas
Ano passado, o vereador Nadim Harfouche (PP) encaminhou o Projeto de Lei 0218/2017 que “institui o funcionamento de UBS’s 24 Horas, no município de Viamão, preferencialmente, em Itapuã, Vila Elza e Águas Claras”. Após o projeto ser aprovado pelos vereadores, o mesmo foi vetado pelo prefeito municipal. Na última semana, os vereadores mantiveram o veto do prefeito.
Segundo o vereador Nadim, a saúde é o bem mais importante para as pessoas. “É inaceitável que os postos de saúde da cidade fechem às 17 horas, antes mesmo dos trabalhadores chegarem do seu trabalho em casa. Nem mesmo aos finais de semana, quando as famílias podem buscar por atendimento, os postos estão abertos. Infelizmente, o prefeito e os vereadores da sua base aliada, vetaram o referido Projeto de Lei com a alegação de que o serviço onera os cofres públicos e que esta atribuição seria de competência de Poder Executivo”, disse Nadim. O vereador disse que espera que o prefeito pense nesta possibilidade de que as UBS’s destas regiões distantes funcionem 24 horas, pois a população necessita muito desta atenção. “Doença não tem dia ou hora para aparecer”, finalizou Nadim.
