O presidente estadual do PSDB, Eduardo Leite, participou na manhã de sábado de um painel promovido pelo PSDB Viamão, para cerca de 200 lideranças do partido e convidados. Leite abriu o encontro analisando o cenário político nacional e estadual, abordando as possíveis candidaturas e projetos que estarão nas eleições de outubro deste ano. “O Rio Grande do Sul precisa de um projeto de gestão que resolva as demandas mais urgentes, mas que também pense o Estado a longo prazo. Não é possível pensar na melhoria da vida do cidadão sem planejamento”, disse Eduardo. Na sequência do painel, o prefeito André Pacheco e o eng. Nilton Magalhães fizeram um resgate das ações desenvolvidas pela gestão do PSDB em Viamão, salientando o caráter histórico de algumas delas: “Nestes primeiros cinco anos de gestão, realizamos ações e obras que deveriam ser realizadas há 20 ou 30 anos. Problemas históricos da cidade começaram a ser resolvidos, como na questão da saúde, com a UPA, e o contrato com a Corsan. Mas ainda há muito por fazer”, disse Nilton Magalhães.
Encerrando o encontro, o vice-presidente estadual do PSDB, prof. Valdir Bonatto, falou sobre a importância de Viamão ter representantes na Assembleia Legislativa e Câmara Federal: “Viamão cresceu em todos os sentidos. Precisamos de um deputado estadual e um federal para que nossa cidade tenha voz ativa nos parlamentos”, disse Bonatto.
