No dia 18 de outubro, a Brigada Militar em parceria com o Grêmio FBPA levou jovens que participam do Programa de Oportunidades e Direitos-POD/BID CENTRO DA JUVENTUDE do município de Viamão para conhecer a Arena do Grêmio. O comandante do 18°BPM, Major Andre Ilha Feliú, e demais policiais da Unidade acompanharam o passeio que se tornou, de certa forma, um presente para estes jovens que tinham formatura marcada no dia 19 de outubro. O Centro da Juventude prevê o atendimento de 600 jovens ao ano, entre 15 e 24 anos, de ambos os gêneros, em situação de vulnerabilidade social, moradores do município de Viamão e tem como objetivos, contribuir para a redução dos índices de violência, prevenir a atividade delitiva e melhorar as oportunidades de integração social dos jovens.
