O evento oportunizou o contato do metre francês, Christian Voiriot, com padarias e confeitarias de todo o Estado. Viamão esteve presente com a Padaria e Confeitaria Frohlich. Pela primeira vez no Estado foi realizada uma oficina com um metre francês e expert em confeitaria e padaria. Christian Voiriot, que é um dos membros da ECTI – Professionnels Seniors, tem formação em padaria e confeitaria, com o título de “Maître Artisan”. Atualmente, é presidente do Sindicato dos Padeiros da Grande Paris e membro da Federação dos Confeiteiros IDF (Ilê-de-France), exercendo a função de chefe de padaria e confeitaria desde os anos 70. Voiriot adquiriu experiência em países como Alemanha, México e China. O viamonense Ivaldo Frohlich, da Padaria e Confeitaria Frohlich, da Lomba da Tarumã, participou das oficinas com o metre francês. Ivaldo disse, ao Jornal Opinião, que a Frohlich tem por objetivo oferecer e inovar sempre com os melhores produtos. “Buscamos chegar o mais próximo dos tradicionais produtos das casas de nossas avós ou tias”, disse Ivaldo. As oficinas práticas foram de massas, recheios, coberturas e decorações, além de tradicionais pratos da confeitaria francesa: entremet, macaron e sobremesas diversas.
