Emenda de Bohn Gass inclui duplicação do Caminho do Meio na LDO da União
A boa notícia veio do próprio autor da emenda, o deputado federal Elvino Bohn Gass (PT/RS), que conseguiu aprovação na sexta-feira (14/7), da inclusão na Lei de Diretrizes Orçamentárias (LDO) da União para 2018, da duplicação das obras da Estrada Caminho, como é conhecido o trecho que começa no fim da Avenida Protásio Alves, em Porto Alegre, na ponte da Cecília, perto da divisa com Alvorada, e segue até a Estação da CEEE, na Parada 54 de Viamão. A atuação do deputado Bohn Gass, único parlamentar gaúcho, titular da Comissão Mista de Orçamento do Congresso Nacional, fez com que fosse acrescentada, a Duplicação do Caminho do Meio, junto com outras emendas que a comissão vinha negociando junto ao Governo Federal, e também entre as outras três obras que foram destinadas ao Estado. Com isso, além da Duplicação do Caminho do Meio, de Viamão, o deputado Bohn Gass também defendeu e conquistou aprovação, junto a Comissão Mista de Orçamento, das três emendas prioritárias e impositivas da Bancada Gaúcha. Na área da saúde e para tratamento de câncer, destinado aos atendimentos de usuários do SUS (Sistema único de Saúde) de Porto Alegre, Viamão, Alvorada, Gravataí e demais da região metropolitana e do Estado, as obras de construção do Centro de Oncologia do Grupo Hospitalar Conceição (GHC). Na mobilidade urbana, a duplicação do trecho entre Guaíba e Pelotas da BR-116, e, a conclusão de trecho de 6 a 8 Km da BR-285, na região de São José dos Ausentes, na Serra, para ligação de turismo, integração e conservação dessa região. A notícia foi comemorada pelo vereador Luís Armando Azambuja (PT), que criou a Frente Parlamentar de Apoio à Mobilidade Urbana e Infraestrutura Viária, incumbido de tratar da defesa da Duplicação do Caminho de Meio e de outras obras de mobilidade, através de uma força tarefa em Viamão. “Já temos o projeto da obra pronto e aprovado, e já conseguimos chegar ao caderno de obras do Governo Federal, através da LDO. Agora, vamos buscar os recursos orçamentários e necessários para efetivação da Duplicação do Caminho do Meio. Estamos exatamente no meio do caminho dessa luta, que, com certeza e apoio de todos, será vitoriosa a comunidade viamonense”, enfatiza o vereador Armando. Para o vereador Luís Armando, que também é o representante no município do deputado federal Elvino Bohn Gass, a estimativa é de que 100 mil pessoas sejam diretamente beneficiadas com a duplicação do Caminho do Meio, representando uma antiga reivindicação dos moradores de Viamão. “O alto número de atropelamentos no Caminho do Meio, que também não tem meio-fio, está entre as grandes preocupações dos viamonenses, que sonham com a obra, para desafogar o intenso, interminável e grande congestionamento das manhãs e tardes do trânsito de veículos da ERS 040, além de qualificar a mobilidade urbana da região, assim como, torná-la mais segura, sinalizada e iluminada”, concluiu o vereador Armando.
