No dia 5 de outubro, a Câmara de Viamão entregou uma Moção de Parabenização e Aplausos à União Tradicionalista Viamonense – UTV. A iniciativa foi do vereador Adão Pretto Filho (PT), em homenagem aos 30 anos da entidade, que mantém viva a cultura gaúcha na cidade. A presidente da UTV, Ana Sara Pinheiro, recebeu a moção, ao lado de vários membros da entidade, prendas e peões. “Hoje, Viamão tem mais de 50 piquetes e uma forte união. Este movimento merece muito reconhecimento da nossa parte, pois é responsável por manter viva a Chama Crioula e as nossas raízes”, destacou o vereador. “É uma honra para a UTV receber a moção. A UTV foi criada em 1987, com o objetivo de promover o Acampamento Farroupilha e difundir a tradição na cidade. Hoje são 17 piquetes permanentes e outros que são montados em setembro. Nosso agradecimento ao reconhecimento à nossa entidade, primeira ligada ao Movimento Tradicionalista Gaúcho – MTG”, disse Ana Pinheiro.
