Após receber reclamações da falta de segurança em torno da Escola Estadual de Ensino Médio Professor Tolentino Maia, situada no Bairro Viamópolis, o vereador Dieguinho Santos entregou um ofício ao Sargento Alex Sandro Câmara Nunes, da 18° BPM, solicitando que seja intensificado o patrulhamento em torno da escola. Conforme relatado pelos próprios professores, diariamente alunos e funcionários têm seus pertences roubados no caminho para a escola, principalmente, no turno da manhã. “Tenho muito orgulho de dizer que estudei e me formei nessa escola, infelizmente, quando era aluno também fui vítima de um assalto. Então, não poderia ser indiferente a essa situação, os alunos e funcionários precisam urgente de mais segurança” relata Dieguinho.
