E finalizou reforçando o trabalho do PRB em preservar a boa política. “O preço de se dedicar a esse trabalho vale a pena quando a causa vale à pena. Que nossa presença na política deixe alguma marca algum dia”, disse. Uma das coordenadorias empossadas neste dia, o PRB Idoso, mostrou, através da fala do coordenador estadual, André Canal, o quanto é necessário que as cidades dêem a assistência necessária aos idosos. “A nossa sociedade ainda precisa aprender a conviver com os idosos. É uma missão, uma vocação que vocês, a partir de hoje, irão assumir”, ressaltou. O deputado estadual pelo PRB e vice-presidente estadual, Sergio Peres, frisou a urgência de se pensar uma boa política, que atenda à necessidade do povo. “Temos visto o sucateamento dos municípios e do Estado. Precisamos de políticas públicas que pensem na juventude, nos idosos, na população em geral”, destacou. Os novos coordenadores empossados no município foram Jairo Franco (PRB Segurança Humana e Desenvolvimento Social), Marcos Mesquita (PRB Sustentabilidade), José Carlos Coelho (PRB Cultura) e Maria Daguimar (PRB Idoso). Estiveram presentes também os coordenadores estaduais do PRB Cultura, Rosi Oliveira, e PRB Segurança Humana e Desenvolvimento Social, Roque Bakof, além dos vereadores republicanos de Porto Alegre, José Freitas e Alvoni Medina e do presidente do PRB de Cachoeirinha, Nerisson de Oliveira.
