A cada quatro anos, o fenômeno se repete: candidatos a deputado federal e estadual de todas as regiões do Estado vêm buscar votos em Viamão. Depois de eleitos, dividem as atenções e, principalmente, as possibilidades de angariar recursos com outras cidades. Naturalmente, a sua cidade-base acaba sendo a mais beneficiada. Viamão acaba ficando preterida em detrimento de outras cidades, na disputa pelas emendas parlamentares e em outros pleitos. Com essa ideia e para evitar que esse cenário se repita na eleição de 2018, a OAB Subseção de Viamão lançou na noite da quarta-feira, dia 06 de junho, a campanha “Viamão tem que ter Vez e Voz”.
Segundo o presidente da OAB de Viamão, Nilson Pinto da Silva, a ideia está sendo construída em conjunto com a Associação Comercial, Industrial e de Serviços de Viamão (ACIVI), CDL Viamão, Sindilojas Viamão, Sindicato dos Municipários de Viamão (SIMVIA) e Coopernorte, entre outras lideranças locais, desde outubro de 2017. “A partir de uma provocação da OAB Estadual, que lançou a campanha “Vote Consciente”, as subsecções estão se movimentando. Aqui, em Viamão, encontramos respaldo e apoio nas entidades coirmãs. A história da OAB de participação ativa nos momentos mais delicados e importantes do Brasil, não nos permite fazer outra coisa senão conclamar a população de Viamão a eleger candidatos locais”, disse Nilson.
Os publicitários José Luiz Fuscaldo e Eugênio Lummertz apresentaram o estudo e a marca da campanha. “Neste momento em que todos reclamam da política, alegando que ela levou o Brasil aos problemas que estamos atravessando, não podemos esquecer que somente pela própria política podemos resolver esses mesmos problemas”, expressou Fuscaldo. “Viamão tem quase 150 mil eleitores cadastrados para as eleições de outubro. Cidades de menor porte como Casca, Osório e Tramandaí chegam a ter mais de um deputado eleito. Mas, para alcançar esse objetivo é preciso união das forças locais em torno desse objetivo. Viamão precisa deixar de ver a sua vez passando, precisa de uma voz ativa na busca dos seus interesses”, resumiu Lummertz. O presidente da ACIVI, Luiz Antonio Pereira, ressaltou que Viamão tem muitas carências que podem ser minimizadas com a atuação parlamentar. “Sabemos que falta muito a ser feito aqui em nossa cidade e toda a oportunidade deve ser bem aproveitada”, falou Pereira.
Milton Pires, presidente da CDL Viamão, conclamou as lideranças locais a assumirem esse compromisso. “Acredito que a palavra fundamental dessa campanha seja comprometimento. Somente com a conscientização e atuação de todos, poderemos mudar esse quadro que pouco traz benefícios para Viamão”, disse Pires. A presidente do SIMVIA, Izabel Garcia, lembrou que os funcionários públicos também precisam do desenvolvimento de Viamão. “Para conseguirmos melhorias nos planos de carreira, precisamos que a cidade obtenha recursos e, para isso, são fundamentais os deputados locais”, explicou a presidente. Altair Cantini, presidente do Sindilojas, encerrou a noite convocando: “Todos unidos em prol de um objetivo. Esse é o espírito para Viamão avançar”.
