O deputado estadual Juvir Costella (PMDB) destacou o recorde do Governo Sartori no combate à sonegação. O parlamentar citou que somente nos nove primeiros meses deste ano, foi alcançada a marca de R$ 1,76 bilhões. O número representa uma ampliação de 41,3% em relação ao mesmo período de 2016. Se comparados os dados a 2013, o aumento é ainda maior, quase 90%. “Além de ajudar no enfrentamento da crise, o combate à sonegação é uma questão de justiça social. Precisamos trabalhar em todas as frentes e, sobretudo, unir esforços para que o Rio Grande saia da crise o mais rápido possível. O nosso contexto econômico exige essa postura de todos os gaúchos de bem”, afirmou Costella. Segundo o parlamentar, entre os motivos para o bom resultado do Governo Sartori estão o uso de novas tecnologias, as operações ostensivas de fiscalização, as parcerias com outros órgãos públicos e o reforço dos novos auditores-fiscais e técnicos tributários empossados em 2016.
