A Câmara de Viamão – CV, concedeu na quinta-feira (23), uma Moção de Parabenização e Aplausos ao Centro de Tradições Gaúchas – CTG, Vaqueanos da Cultura. A iniciativa foi do vereador Nadim Harfouche (PP) pelos 60 anos de fundação do centro. O lema do CTG é “Pelo Rio Grande Tradição e Cultura”. A moção foi entregue ao patrão de honra, Geraldo José Simões, juntamente com os patronos, Dimas Costa e Jéferson Luciano de Souza – patrão. O CTG é ligado à Escola Técnica de Agricultura – ETA. Na cerimônia, vários membros e integrantes do centro de tradição e da escola estiveram presentes. Nadim destacou a importância do CTG e da ETA para a história de Viamão.
