Esta quarta-feira (31) é o prazo final para aproveitar o desconto de 30%, nos pagamentos realizados em cota única, dos valores referentes ao Imposto sobre a Propriedade Predial e Territorial (IPTU) em Viamão. O alerta é do vereador Luís Armando Azambuja (PT), autor da legislação que criou e defendeu a manutenção do benefício, exclusivo aos contribuintes de Viamão, e que representa o maior desconto de impostos do País. Além disso, o vereador também foi o autor da lei que criou o desconto “Bom Pagador”, concedido aquele cidadão que sempre paga em dia o seu IPTU. Quem não conseguir os 30%, ainda poderá quitar até 28 de fevereiro de 2018, com desconto de 15%, tudo incidente no valor total do IPTU/2018.
Aqueles que não quitarem nesse período, perderão os descontos concedidos de pagamento à vista, mas poderão parcelar em até em seis vezes, com o primeiro vencimento, no dia 8 de março de 2018. Nesse caso, os contribuintes com imóveis que pagaram em dia o IPTU dos anos anteriores, terão desconto exclusivo de 10%, do Cidadão “Bom Pagador”, sobre o valor total do exercício de 2018, quando optarem pelo parcelamento em até 6 vezes. Os carnês com as guias para pagamento do IPTU estão sendo distribuídos pelos correios nas residências dos contribuintes.
Aqueles que não receberem ou invalidarem o carnê/guia poderão retirar a 2° via diretamente na Secretaria da Fazenda, Praça Júlio de Castilhos, s/nº, Centro, no horário das 8h30 às 12h e das 13h30 às 17h, e/ou através do aplicativo CidadeMOB, e/ou Online, no site da prefeitura.
