O presidente do Grupo, Jairton Vieira, concedeu entrevista para o repórter Leo Saballa Jr, durante a realização do trabalho da equipe de manutenção de rede, no Condomínio Jardim Tropical. O presidente ressaltou a importância do trabalho das cooperativas, falando sobre a qualidade do serviço prestados, das oportunidades que essas geram para todas as localidades que atendem e como o Grupo Coopernorte, que através da cooperativa de energia, atende a região rural de Viamão e Santo Antônio da Patrulha.
