Nos dias 11 e 13 de abril, a Escola Adventista do Centro e Cecília prestaram uma homenagem ao prefeito André Pacheco, pelo Dia do Prefeito. A diretora Marilane Barcelos (Centro), acompanhada da professora de religião, Silvana Fraga, e dos alunos do 2º ano do Ensino Médio, Josué, Josilene, Fernanda, Lucas e Marília, presentearam Pacheco com três DVDs e CDs de músicas gospel.
Na oportunidade, a professora Silvana parabenizou o trabalho que vem sendo desenvolvido pelo governo. “Não vemos mais depósito de lixo nas esquinas. Na Esmeralda, já foram pavimentadas três ruas e outra está recebendo asfaltamento. Na Orieta, estamos muito felizes com a abertura da UBS São Lucas, que está proporcionando aos moradores um atendimento eficiente”, disse Silvana. “Também agradecemos a pavimentação asfáltica no Beco do Lavapés, que interliga a ERS 040 a São Tomé”, acrescentou a estudante Fernanda.
Já na Cecília, o diretor Igor Dias recebeu o prefeito com um café da manhã. Pacheco levou até os estudantes do 8º ano a cartilha do projeto Cidade Limpa e pediu a colaboração de todos nas suas comunidades. O prefeito também ressaltou os desafios diários na gestão da cidade.
