Em sua fala o prefeito ressalta o esforço feito por um ensino de qualidade: “Estamos trabalhando para melhorar ainda mais os índices de educação no município, melhorar a estrutura das escolas, merenda com produtos orgânicos, material didático e programas que contribuem para o avanço, esse é o nosso compromisso. Somente através da educação vamos avançar enquanto sociedade e garantir um futuro melhor para nossos filhos”. Alunos, professores, diretores e funcionários vão poder aproveitar as melhorias feitas na escola que conta com o novo bloco administrativo, reforma e substituição da rede elétrica e pontos de iluminação, elevação e cobertura de pátio, implantação de sanitário e rampas de acesso; reforma total da cozinha e refeitório, dispensa para mantimentos e área de serviços, substituição de telhado, forro e rede elétrica dos sanitários, novo sistema de abastecimento de água e novo sistema de esgotamento sanitário, (fossa filtro sumidouro), além da implantação de nova rede pluvial do pátio e pintura geral. A obra custou R$ 547.516,10 ao município.
