Karatê Para Todos realiza a segunda troca de faixa
No dia 26 de abril, o projeto social Karatê Para Todos realizou a segunda troca de faixa, sendo esta a primeira no mesmo local de treino. Em setembro de 2016, foi realizada a primeira troca de faixa, nas dependências do Colégio Militar, em Porto Alegre. O exame foi realizado sob comando do Sansei Hélio Bandeira, 5º Dan. O projeto social do aluno-instrutor Cristian de Souza (faixa marrom), e dos instrutores Julio Magno (faixa preta) e Felipe Godinho (faixa preta), iniciou em outubro de 2015 e tem o apoio da Secretaria Municipal de Esporte e Lazer (Smel), que cede o espaço e os tatames para o treino. As aulas acontecem gratuitamente no Centro Municipal de Cultura e Esporte (Rua dos Açores, 951, Tarumã), nas segundas e quartas-feiras, das 19h30 às 20h45 e aos sábados das 10h30 às 11h45. Trocaram de faixa, branca para amarela, os karatecas Neder de Lima, Mateus Miguel, Jenifer Gabriel, Otávio Augusto, Franciely Martins, Joel Passos e Francisco Fernandes. Agora, os sete fazem parte da FGK – Federação Gaucha de Karatê. Eles recebem carteirinha, certificado e uma senha onde tem acesso a uma conta que é criada em nome dos atletas. “Ser federado comprova que o atleta realmente prestou exame e está apto a passar para outro nível”, explica Souza. A próxima troca de faixa será em agosto, para os karatecas que realizaram a primeira troca em setembro. Souza explica que o projeto começou com a necessidade pessoal de um local para dar continuidade aos treinos de karatê e para atender às pessoas que sempre tiveram vontade de praticar uma arte marcial, mas não tinham condições de pagar uma academia. “A realização deste projeto está sendo muito gratificante, mas o sucesso não vem só de mim, vem de todos que acreditaram que podia dar certo e de todos que se empenham para que o projeto continue”, explica.
