No dia 26 de janeiro, o secretário Estadual de Desenvolvimento e Tecnologia, Marcio Biolchi esteve em Viamão. O secretário esteve em visita ao prefeito André Pacheco. Ó encontro tratou sobre a liberação de R$ 3 milhões para o asfaltamento de dez ruas em Viamão. Recurso esse financiado pelo Badesul, o Banco do Desenvolvimento do Rio Grande do Sul, assinado no dia 2 de outubro de 2017, e que será pago pela prefeitura com verba própria. As ruas que receberão o asfalto através do recurso são: Avenida Jurema, Avenida Paraguassú, Rua Barão de Belém, Rua Tiradentes, Rua Ramiro Cardoso de Fraga, Rua Bagé, Rua Santa Isabel, Rua Casemiro de Abreu, Rua Araranguá, e Rua Itapiruba.
“Mesmo em meio à crise econômica que vem afetando todo o país, o município de Viamão tem conseguido manter suas contas em dia e ainda trazer novos recursos para melhorar a cidade”, disse o prefeito André Pacheco. Na oportunidade, Marcio Biolchi se colocou a disposição do município para as demandas que forem importantes à cidade.
Ainda na gestão do ex-prefeito Valdir Bonatto, a Prefeitura de Viamão pagou dívidas antigas e vem trabalhando para que todas as contas se mantenham em dia, o que proporcionou que ela saísse do Cadin (Cadastro Informativo de créditos não quitados do setor público federal) e também permite que ela continue buscando novos recursos para investir no município e melhorar a vida da comunidade. O secretário estava acompanhado por Glademir de Moura Sarico. Ainda estiveram presentes ao encontro, o vice-prefeito Russinho e os secretários municipais Karine Sarico e Carlos Bennech.
