O prefeito André Pacheco ressaltou, ao Jornal Opinião, que essas obras são com recursos próprios e vão melhorar muito a mobilidade urbana para a população. “A partir da mobilidade urbana, vamos melhorar a qualidade de vida da população destas regiões”, disse o prefeito. As ruas que estão sendo asfaltadas são: Goiás T1, Goiás T2, Paraíba, Ceara, Pernambuco, Sergipe, Moises Boneti, Barão do Belém, Recreio, José Carlos Ferreira, João Pedro Bom, Veranópolis T1, Veranópolis T2 e Travessa Domingues, totalizando 2,7 Km, com um custo de R$ 1.250 milhões.
