A tão sonhada obra da Rua Joaquim Gonçalves Ledo agora está se tornando realidade. Em 2013, a gestão passada inscreveu a via no PAC Mobilidade, do Governo Federal, mas o recurso não foi disponibilizado. Agora, em 2018, a Prefeitura canalizou os esforços para que a obra se tornasse realidade. Serão mais de R$ 1,37 milhão em investimentos com recursos próprios do Município. Estão sendo feitas as canalizações de esgotamento cloacal na Rua Joaquim Gonçalves Ledo, incluindo parte das ruas Chiquinha Gonzaga e Lorenço Fernandes, totalizando 1.800 metros de extensão. Junto a isso, também está sendo feita a rede de esgotamento pluvial em toda a Rua Joaquim Gonçalves Ledo, com a construção de caixas coletoras. Depois disso, serão colocados os meios fios e construída a base para preparação da rua. Por fim, será realizada a pavimentação asfáltica completa, com pintura e sinalização viária, somando 1.177 metros lineares. “Com a conclusão da obra da Rua Joaquim Gonçalves Ledo, unindo à Avenida dos Coqueiros, todo o bairro estará abraçado com pavimentação. Formamos ali mais um importante eixo de mobilidade urbana, desafogando o trânsito num trecho da ERS 040, assim como estamos fazendo na Tarumã, com a pavimentação da Rua João Viale Dias, Mendanha e Açores. Assumimos um compromisso em 2013 e estamos cumprindo metas”, explicou o prefeito André Pacheco.
