Cada conjunto é constituído por duas camisas azuis noite, manga curta; duas calças azuis noite; uma camiseta azul noite; um cinto em sarja; um cinco NA; um boné; e um par de coturnos. Os vigilantes capacitados para atuarem em eventos (25 homens) também recebem capa de colete, placa de colete e bastão. Um investimento de R$ 111.926,00. O chefe da Vigilância Municipal, Getúlio Barcelos, ressaltou que o material adquirido foi pensado na segurança e no conforto. O secretário de Administração, Milton Jader, falou que estão sendo adquiridas mais três viaturas para a Patrulha Escolar. “Estamos fazendo a nossa parte enquanto município na contribuição do aumento da sensação de segurança. A Patrulha Escolar está percorrendo todas as escolas do município nos horários de entrada e saída de alunos. Junto a isso, foram instaladas as câmeras de videomonitoramento em todas as escolas e prédios públicos, bem como 40 câmeras de vídeomonitoramento no Centro e Santa Isabel que estão contribuindo para a diminuição da criminalidade”, finalizou o prefeito André Pacheco.
