O presidente da Frente Parlamentar em Defesa da Mobilidade Urbana, o vereador Luís Armando Azambuja (PT), informou essa semana, através de vídeo pelas redes sociais, que o trecho urbano, com aproximadamente 10Km, da Rodovia Tapir Rocha, a ERS 040, da parada 31 até o entroncamento da ERS 118, da região do Fiuza, poderá ser administrado pela Prefeitura de Viamão, e não mais pelo Governo do Estado, como é atualmente. De acordo com o vereador Armando, “a própria Prefeitura de Viamão está buscando a municipalização da Rodovia Tapir Rocha, e o Governo do Estado já se posicionou pelo aceite, mas a oficialização dependerá de ato específico, através de lei e/ou decreto”, enfatizou. O vereador Armando defende uma ampla discussão e debates sobre o assunto: “O município, que possui 1.494 km² de extensão territorial e mais de 4 mil ruas, divididas em 400 vilas e 21 bairros, que sofrem com a falta de manutenção e reparos nas vias públicas, terá condições de administrar essa Rodovia?”, indagou o vereador. Além disso, continuou o vereador Armando: “É preciso saber se as obras reivindicadas pela comunidade viamonense serão contempladas, em contra partida do Estado, para entregar o trecho Rodovia Tapir Rocha ao município, como: corredores de ônibus, passarelas, viaduto com o entroncamento da ERS 118, qualificação da sinalização, além da acessibilidade da Rodovia, entre outras, ou ficarão para Prefeitura fazer?”. O vereador disse que o trecho urbano de Viamão, da Rodovia Tapir Rocha, é um dos pontos com maior potencial de arrecadação da região. Pelo trecho trafegam, diariamente, milhares de veículos e de todos os tipos e, com isso, todas as arrecadações de multas e de outras fiscalizações fazendárias aplicadas na localidade, passariam para o município, onde em contra partida ficaria responsável pelas obras de qualificação, manutenção e reparo desse trecho. Através de projeto na Câmara, o vereador Armando está criando uma Frente Parlamentar específica sobre o tema, para oportunizar e ampliar as discussões e debates com proposito de reivindicações de propostas e exigências de contra partidas de obras e melhorias da ERS-040, para eventual municipalização da Rodovia Tapir Rocha.
