O secretário de Educação, Carlos Bennech, falou que é possível ter sim uma escola pública de qualidade. “E essa escola é exemplo disso. Em tempos de crise, estamos investindo em construção e melhorias físicas de prédios, em material escolar, em segurança nas escolas, na qualificação de professores e com novos projetos, como o da EJA Diurna, Escola de Educação Integral, Escolas Aurora, entre outros”, ressaltou Bennech.
Muito feliz também estava o prefeito André Pacheco. “A escola é o núcleo de convivência de uma comunidade. Investir na educação, é investir no futuro de nossa cidade. Sou pai e o que todos os pais querem é que seus filhos tenham oportunidades e uma vida melhor e isso só se consegue através da educação. É através da educação que teremos mais qualidade de vida”, finalizou Pacheco.
Obra
A obra foi projetada com o intuito de integrar os alunos, com um novo conceito de salas de aula, que abrange área recreativa coberta. Um total de 1.054,17m² de área construída. Um investimento de R$ 1,45 milhão. São quatro salas de aula para o ensino fundamental e duas para a educação infantil, biblioteca/sala de informática, área administrativa, área de alimentação. A escola também possui telhado ecológico isolante térmico, com um sistema de para-raios, prática que está sendo adotada em todas as novas obras da Secretaria Municipal de Educação.
Turmas
Hoje estão matriculados 208 alunos, que estão inseridos no ensino do Jardim I ao 7º ano, atendidos por 12 professores e nove funcionários.
