O prefeito de Viamão, André Pacheco, acompanhado dos secretários de Agricultura e Abastecimento, Carlos Remi Pacheco, de Desenvolvimento Econômico, Indústria, Comércio e Turismo, Maurício Carravetta, do presidente da Associação Comercial e Industrial de Viamão, Altair Cantini, do presidente do Sindicato Rural, Roberto Canquerini, do presidente e vice-presidente da Coopernorte, Jairton Viera e Paulo Ricardo da Silva, respectivamente, e do procurador Claudio Nunes, visitou o Frigorífico Borrússia na última quarta-feira, dia 14, em Osório. A saída teve por objetivo estreitar as relações com os empresários Petronílio Formagio e Fabiano Formagio, sócios-fundadores do Frigorífico Borrússia. De acordo com os empresários, a área da fábrica está pequena demais, pois querem expandir sua marca no Estado. Atualmente, a organização conta com 160 funcionários diretos, dentre eles, os fundadores, esposas, filhos, cunhadas, e sobrinhos, e os demais são funcionários vindos de diversas localidades. Mas indiretamente toda a cadeia envolvida na produção de insumos para fabricação beneficia mais de duas mil pessoas. “Recebemos o Prêmio Mérito Lojista, que é realizado pela Federação das Câmaras Dirigentes Lojistas do RS, nos anos de 2014 e 2015. O Frigorífico Borússia foi reconhecido por empresários por fornecer produtos de excelência e de qualidade aos consumidores”, complementa Petronílio. A empresa foi vencedora na Categoria Alimentos – segmento Embutidos. “Viemos num crescente e trabalhamos para atender com, cada vez mais, qualidade nossos consumidores com objetivo de levar nossa marca para outros estados e continuar contribuindo com o crescimento da comunidade”, ressalta. Petronílio destaca que a nova unidade estima gerar 200 empregos diretos, 3.000 empregos indiretos e fomentar a produção suína na cidade, com abate diário de até 1.000 suínos. Para tanto, necessitam de uma área de 25 hectares, com infraestrutura e estrada pavimentada, para se estabelecerem. O prefeito colocou o município à disposição e disse que Viamão é parceiro neste projeto, juntamente com o Sindicato Rural e as demais entidades representativas que visitaram a fábrica Borrússia. “Viamão está bem posicionada, estrategicamente. É o maior município em extensão territorial da região metropolitana e, com certeza, encontraremos uma área que atenda às necessidades da Borrússia”, finaliza Pacheco.
