No final de dezembro, o prefeito André Pacheco reuniu, em seu gabinete, a imprensa de Viamão para fazer uma retrospectiva das principais ações que foram realizadas em 2018. – Educação – 20 escolas receberam reforma ou ampliação, foi iniciado o projeto Pacto pela Alfabetização no qual já surtiu efeito de 80% de eficácia, investimento em alimentação saudável na merenda escolar com a compra direta do produtor, compra de uniformes aos estudantes, ampliação do programa Galera Curtição o qual fez Viamão a ganhar o Prêmio Gestão Pública em Educação;
– Saúde – Construção e entrega da UBS Pró-Morar, reforma e ampliação das UBSs Augusta Marina e Elsa, 30 equipes de ESFs, duas academias ao ar livre e continuação do projeto Tô Dentro;
– Complexo Ana Jobim – Concentração de serviços para a população, com PA 24 horas, PAS 24h, conselho tutelar, coordenação da juventude, centro da juventude, Sine, Defesa Civil, Fábrica da Cidadania, Corpo de Bombeiros e 18º BPM;
– Segurança – 25 câmeras de videomonitoramento na Santa Isabel, entrega de três veículos zero quilômetro para a Patrulha Escolar, entrega da Praça Santa Isabel, com sala de videomonitoramento, sanitários públicos, paisagismo, iluminação de LED, playground, quiosques e salas comerciais.
