O dia do aniversário de Viamão, 14 de setembro, foi um dia de muitas alegrias. A entrega da UBS São Lucas à comunidade, que foi extinta em 2012, quando em seu lugar foi aberto o Pronto-Atendimento 24 horas, foi muito comemorada. A nova UBS São Lucas foi construída na Rua Pedro Moreira Lobato, 1.180, numa área em frente à antiga unidade, que hoje é o Centro de Especialidades da Saúde. A nova unidade já está em funcionamento e conta com duas equipes de Saúde da Família (ESF), que é composta por médicos clínicos gerais, enfermeiros, técnicos de enfermagem, além dos agentes comunitários de saúde. O novo prédio foi projetado e pensado não só no atendimento aos usuários, mas também no seu conforto, bem estar, cuidados e atenção. A UBS São Lucas tem capacidade para atender a 8 mil pessoas e oferece serviço de acolhimento, consultas de enfermagem, médicas, pré-natal, puericultura (atendimento infantil), vacinação, medicamentos, curativos, procedimentos, atividades coletivas com os usuários, odontologia e outros atendimentos essenciais à saúde. A representante da 2ª Coordenadoria Regional de Saúde (CRS), Jussara Teresinha, parabenizou a equipe de saúde de Viamão, que agora inaugura a sua 17ª Unidade Básica de Saúde. O secretário Geral de Governo, Nilton Magalhães, lembrou dos investimentos feitos em infraestrutura na região, que envolveu regularização fundiária, drenagem e regularização de área, transformando este quadrante em um complexo de saúde – UBS, Centro de Especialidades, SAMU e Secretaria Municipal de Saúde. O secretário de Saúde, Luis Augusto Carvalho, estava muito emocionado. “Estamos qualificando e humanizando o atendimento. Esta será o modelo de unidade que teremos daqui para frente, com um designe mais acolhedor e aconchegante, remetendo a um lugar confortável. A data não poderia ser melhor, no dia dos 276 anos de Viamão, estamos devolvendo à comunidade da São Lucas a Unidade de Saúde que havia sido retirada em 2012. Hoje, a Saúde de Viamão está em festa”, encerra Carvalho. Presente na cerimônia, o deputado Estadual Juvir Costella, parabenizou os funcionários da saúde, desde os médicos, enfermeiros, motoristas das ambulâncias, técnico de enfermagem e os atendentes. “Vocês estão de parabéns, porque esta conquista só foi possível com o empenho e ajuda de vocês. E assim, a população vai ter mais qualidade de vida, e, aqui em Viamão, isso já é realidade.” Já, o vice-prefeito, Valdir Elias Russinho, falou que em seguida serão entregues mais duas unidades, a Universal e a Pró-Morar. “Assim, a Prefeitura vai avançando. Todo e qualquer centavo que está entrando no município, está sendo investido na nossa cidade.” O prefeito, André Pacheco, lembrou o momento de dificuldade econômica que vive o país. “E, na Prefeitura, isso não é diferente. Quando temos dificuldades, temos que ter criatividade em cuidar do dinheiro público. Viamão vem avançando, pagando as suas contas. Nossa UPA foi regulamentada e estamos recebendo recursos da União, o que nos permite fazer mais investimentos na saúde pública. Hoje, estamos inaugurando uma UBS e logo serão mais duas, isso tudo com recursos próprios e valorizando o dinheiro público. Um investimento de mais de um milhão de reais, numa obra com o padrão de qualidade e atendimento que a população de Viamão merece. Isso é cuidar da saúde das pessoas”, finaliza Pacheco.
A solenidade contou com a presença de diversas autoridades entre elas, dos vereadores Dieguinho Santos, Dilamar de Jesus, Edi Bagé e Francinei Bonatto, dos secretários municipais Miro Braga, Gilberto Fraga, Bira Camargo e Maurício Carravetta, além de lideranças políticas como Glademir de Moura Sarico.
