“Uma ferramenta de defesa do trabalhador público em Viamão”, assim o vereador Guto Lopes (PSOL) define o projeto de lei indicativo de sua autoria, aprovado, por unanimidade, pela Câmara de Vereadores, na última semana. Segundo o vereador, a medida dá ao governo condições para priorizar o pagamento dos salários dos servidores públicos diante de outras obrigações. O projeto também impede o parcelamento da remuneração de quem trabalha no serviço público – diferentemente do que acontece hoje com servidores do Estado, por exemplo. “A Câmara já deu sua opinião, aprovando o projeto indicativo. Ele é o instrumento que os servidores têm para cobrar do governo um posicionamento no mesmo sentido”, sugere Guto. “Ninguém está livre da crise, nem Viamão. Com essa medida, o governo tem em mãos um instrumento legal para, se for necessário, fazer escolhas duras, fazê-las sem comprometer o salário de quem escolheu a carreira pública como meio de vida e de sustento da família”, acrescentou. Guto lembra o grande contingente de servidores estaduais gaúchos que vêm enfrentando parcelamentos há praticamente dois anos. “É tudo que não queremos para Viamão: esse modelo de ajuste neoliberal em que o salário do funcionalismo vira recurso para tapar o rombo da crise e dos desgovernos nos cofres públicos”, falou o vereador. As únicas exceções para o parcelamento previstas no projeto são para repasses constitucionais obrigatórios e para o pagamento da gratificação natalina, o popular 13º, que segue podendo ser quitado em duas vezes dentro do mesmo ano.
