Semana Estadual da Juventude em Viamão
No dia 10 de agosto, a vontade de conseguir uma vaga de estágio ou emprego levou mais de 600 adolescentes e jovens para a Escola Estadual Anna Jobim, em Viamão. O local, onde funciona o Centro da Juventude da cidade, teve uma programação especial por causa da Semana Estadual da Juventude. Um dos eventos foi a Feira das Profissões. Os jovens aproveitaram para pegar informações sobre estágios, cursos técnicos e de graduação. O FGTAS/Sine Móvel realizou 80 atendimentos, confeccionou 16 carteiras de trabalho e fez 55 encaminhamentos para vagas de emprego. Outros 15 jovens buscaram orientação sobre documentos e empregos. O Instituto Geral de Perícias fez 40 carteiras de identidade. Mais de 80 jovens preencheram fichas para estágios do CIEE. E mais de 50 procuraram os cursos do Senac. O Centro da Juventude de Viamão é um dos seis que existem no Estado e faz parte do Programa de Oportunidades e Direitos, uma parceira do governo gaúcho com o Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento. O local funciona com o apoio de ONGs das comunidades e oferecem, de graça, cursos de qualificação, esporte, cultura e lazer para os moradores de 15 a 24 anos. A unidade de Viamão também vai ter a Feira das Profissões e o Seminário da Juventude. Durante a tarde, a secretária de Desenvolvimento Social, Trabalho, Justiça e Direitos Humanos, Maria Helena Sartori, esteve em Viamão. “Fico muito feliz de ver o local assim cheio. Isso é inclusão social. Essas atividades que estão acontecendo aqui não foram impostas, foram os jovens que sugeriram. Acho que esse é o caminho: ouvir, respeitar e buscar parcerias para dar oportunidades”, disse Maria Helena. A secretária aproveitou para ver a apresentação de músicos e grupos de capoeira da comunidade. O prefeito de Viamão, André Nunes Pacheco, também visitou o local. A Semana Estadual da Juventude tem programação até o dia 21 de agosto. A ação do Governo do Estado integra o calendário oficial de eventos do Rio Grande do Sul e abraça o Dia Internacional da Juventude, comemorado em 12 de agosto.
