A Lei 4.117, de autoria do vereador Luís Armando Azambuja (PT), que instituiu a “Operação Balada Segura” em Viamão, já entrou em vigor, como política pública de Governo, integrada e contínua para as ações de fiscalização e de educação para o trânsito. Os 18 agentes e os 4 servidores do quadro administrativo da Empresa Pública de Trânsito de Viamão (EPTV) já receberam a capacitação para os procedimentos da Operação Balada Segura, com técnicos do Detran/RS. O treinamento foi realizado na última semana, no auditório da Escola Municipal Walter Graf.
De acordo com o diretor-presidente da EPTV, Paulo Ricardo Barbosa Schwartzhaupt, o Kadu, o treinamento tratou das técnicas de abordagem cidadã, manuseio do etilômetro e uso de software que registra as informações das operações, além de debater questões da legislação sobre álcool no trânsito. Ações conjuntas, coordenadas pela EPTV, envolverão a participação da Brigada Militar (BM) e Comando Rodoviário da BM (CRBM) de Viamão. A medida, conveniada com o Detran/RS, atende a legislação de autoria do vereador Armando Azambuja, que instituiu a “Operação Balada Segura” em Viamão. De acordo com o vereador Armando, a capacidade da Operação Balada Segura, em combinar aspectos de educação e de fiscalização, representa mais segurança para as vias de Viamão, com o foco de sensibilizar a população para coibir o uso do álcool no volante, onde o objetivo principal é diminuir os índices de acidentalidade e as mortes no trânsito. “Além de educar para o trânsito e para a cidadania, vamos salvar vidas”, apontou o vereador Armando. A primeira blitz oficial do Balada Segura de Viamão, pela EPTV, será realizada nos próximos dias e deverá ser permanente no município de Viamão. Inicialmente ocorrendo nas noites e madrugadas de sextas e sábados, podendo ser realizadas ainda, nos demais dias da semana, em diversos pontos das zonas urbana e rural do município.
