Em publicações anteriores, comunicamos que não estávamos medindo esforços para, efetivamente, instalar, através de suas mudanças, no antigo prédio do Foro, a Delegacia de Polícia de Pronto Atendimento – DPPA, Delegacia da Mulher – DEAM e 1ª Delegacia de Polícia, além de outros Departamentos da Segurança Pública, com a denominação “Central de Polícia”. O referido prédio encontra-se desocupado há mais de seis anos. O telhado e outras instalações encontravam-se em péssimo estado de conservação, necessitando de reformas e substituições. Iniciou-se uma via-sacra, foram ofícios para várias repartições públicas. Em face da situação financeira do Estado, as promessas e o silêncio se perpetuaram no tempo. Mas não devemos nos acomodar. Insistimos, persistimos e não desistimos, visto que o “povo” clama por segurança e, a Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, no caso, Subseção de Viamão, tem conhecimento do seu dever, assegurar a Cidadania e o Estado Democrático de Direito, aos Cidadãos como um todo, na nossa Cidade, principalmente, aos Viamonenses. Buscamos parcerias com as autoridades, hoje bem próximo de uma realidade. As instalações internas já estão recuperadas, aptas à ocupação, no entanto, falta, ainda, a reforma do telhado. Dentre as parcerias, Consepro e Poder Judiciário, este através do Foro de Viamão, nos possibilitaram firmar Contrato de Empreitada de material e mão-de-obra, para a reforma do telhado, fato ocorrido no dia 19.04.2017, na sede da OAB, o que nos garante o início da ocupação, durante o mês de maio de 2017.
Este sonho está chegando a uma realidade, “Central de Polícia” no Centro de Viamão. Sonho este que está se concretizando, onde teremos vários Órgãos da Segurança Pública em local de fácil acesso e com vários encaminhamentos, além da sensação de segurança que a sociedade viamonense passará a usufruir diariamente. Agradecemos, efusivamente, todos aqueles que não mediram esforços para a concretização deste encaminhamento junto às autoridades, para que possamos dizer – missão cumprida.
